portfolio import wizard

How do I import my portfolio from an outside site into My Way?
Use the Portfolio Import Wizard available at http://utilities.finance.myway.com/piw to import your existing portfolio data from any of the supported sites into My Way.

I receive "Error: unable to log in." when I attempt to use the Portfolio Import Wizard.
This error will appear if you have mis-keyed the Username or Password for your account. Please be sure that you are providing a valid Username and Password for your external account.

Note: You need to enter the Username and Password for your account on the site from which you are attempting to Import your portfolio from. Do not enter your My Way Username and Password into the Portfolio Import Wizard.

I imported my Portfolio from an External site and now have 2 versions of each portfolio. Why?
If you attempt to import a portfolio with the same name more than once, any future imported portfolio names will be appended with a "~X". You cannot import a portfolio over an existing portfolio of the same name.

Can I re-import a portfolio once I have changed it on the external site?
In order to re-import a portfolio using the Portfolio Import Wizard, you will need to first delete the portfolio with that name within your My Way account. If you attempt to re-import a portfolio with the same name, you will end up with an additional copy of that portfolio with the same name appended with "~X".

Can I download my portfolio to my local computer to view with different applications?
Yes. You can download your My Way portfolio as a CSV (comma separated values) file which you can then open with the spreadsheet application of your choice.

To do so, navigate to your portfolio through the My Way Finance section and click on the link labeled "Download to Spreadsheet" located at the bottom-right corner of your porfolio. You will then be prompted to save the file in .csv format.

Once you have saved the file to your computer, you can then open the file with the Excel, Quicken, or whatever spreadsheet application you prefer to use.
